Food And Ration Distribution Registration

Tedxto follows a regular practice of food distribution to neighboring villagers. Started in May 20, 2005, this activity is still a mainstay of our CSR efforts, and has been developed to include three distinct segments.

The ration bags, containing flour, rice, sugar, milk, pulses and cooking oil, weighing 20 kg each, have been handed over to local administration for distribution among the deserving residents in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab. As such, the company has always supported government’s efforts during challenging national situations, including natural disasters and epidemics.

Apart from obligatory CSR initiatives, PPL has been contributing for welfare measures in education, healthcare, livelihood generation, infrastructure development and community transformation projects.

A transparent selection process has been employed to ensure quality items at competitive prices in the creation of ration bags. These bags include 10 kg of locally produced fine wheat atta, 2 kg of ghee, sugar, rice, and one-kilogram basin.

The procured items underwent initial sampling and verification by the laboratories of the Punjab Food Authority to ensure quality and suitability for use. They were then packed in a highly hygienic environment.

Regarding the identification of deserving families, Mr Raza said that they have received a list of 106,514 BISP beneficiaries, which was verified by district administration teams. The distribution operation is being carried out by 150 teams.
